2. Legal framework

This policy is governed by Colombian Law 1581 of 2012, Decree 1377 of 2013 (compiled into Decree 1074 of 2015), and other applicable Colombian regulations on personal data protection.

  • Contact data from prospective clients: name, email address, brand or hotel name, location, social media handle or website, project type and stage, services of interest, and details shared in the contact form.
  • Newsletter subscriber data: email address.

4. Purpose of processing

  • Evaluating and responding to inquiries or collaboration requests.
  • Managing the business relationship with hotels and hospitality brands that hire our services.
  • Sending informational or promotional content to newsletter subscribers.
  • With the client’s prior authorization, featuring their project in our portfolio or as a testimonial on our website.
  • Complying with legal, accounting, and tax obligations arising from the business relationship.

5. Authorization

By completing our contact form or subscribing to our newsletter, you authorize BUTIQ ENHANCING DESTINATIONS SAS to process your personal data for the purposes described in this policy. This authorization is free, prior, express, and informed.

6. International transfer and transmission of data

To operate our services, we use technology providers based outside Colombia, including Google, Meta (Facebook/Instagram), TikTok, GoDaddy, and Cloudflare. This means your personal data may be transferred to and stored on servers outside the country, in accordance with Article 26 of Law 1581 of 2012.

  • File complaints with Colombia’s Superintendence of Industry and Commerce (SIC) for violations of data protection regulations.

8. How to exercise your rights

You may send your request (inquiry, complaint, update, correction, or deletion) to hello@butiq.world, including your full name, the right you wish to exercise, and a description of your request. We will respond to inquiries within 10 business days (extendable by 5 more business days), and to complaints within 15 business days of receipt.

We implement reasonable technical, human, and administrative measures to protect your personal data against loss, misuse, unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.

10. Minors

Our services are directed at businesses and professionals in the hotel and hospitality industry. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.

11. Validity and changes

This policy is effective as of its publication date and remains in force as long as BUTIQ ENHANCING DESTINATIONS SAS processes personal data for the purposes described herein. Any material changes will be published on this same page.
