Hotels and Multisensory Design

All the information that is meant to enter our bodies will do so exclusively through our five human senses. They are the enablers that permit us to connect to inputs in our exterior and the ones who facilitate us to react and build a relationship with something new to our human body. Therefore, the most memorable experiences are the ones that interact the most with our senses.

As designers, we understand the travel universe as an integrated network of information that must be communicated assertively to guests. In this sense, the process of building brand and communication strategies for our beloved hotels must be built around a multisensorial approach.  Creating by understanding humans before understanding anything else, allows us to genuinely connect and offer a travel experience that goes far beyond basic services offered by a hotel.

Modern humans are more conscious, and so they require travel enhancers to build experiences that generate remembrance from the moment they hear about it, until the moments in the future when they remember it. A multisensorial design approach means understanding how the senses will be affected by the architecture and interior design of a space, by the communication channels a hotel uses to contact their guests, by the design of certain amenities, by how an integrated experience is built, by the sounds guests listen to, by the smell they perceive, and so many other aspects.

The creative industry gives us the opportunity to undraw the limits that exist in design processes. Through experience and knowledge, a dreaming mind can materialize a vision on how travel experiences can be extraordinary, unique, memorable, through a multisensorial design approach.

We invite you to be part of our team of dreamers!
